Neck care tips

Tip 1: Avoid Make-up on the Neck
When you apply make-up on your face, stop where the neck starts. Apply foundation just over the jaw line. If there is obvious contrast between the face and the neck color, it means you are using the wrong color foundation. You need to change to a shade closer to your skin’s own tone.

Your eyes need some vitamins and nutrients too. To keep them healthy, maintain a diet full of green leafy vegetables, omega 3 fatty acids, zinc and beta carotene. Additionally, vitamin C and vitamin A supplements can also improve. Your eyesight. But you should always consult your doctor before consuming supplements.

Eye exercise is simple. All you need to do is just blink several times, then close your eyes and roll them in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. While doing this, inhale and exhale slowly and open your eyes slowly after doing this.

  1. For tired eyes, try placing a cotton ball soaked in lukewarm milk over your eyes for a while. This same thing can also be done with chilled milk.
  2. Take 1 teaspoon of Tomato pulp,1 pinch of Turmeric powder, half teaspoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of gram flour. Make a paste of the above ingredients and apply gently on the eye lids and the darkened areas and let it remain for half an hour. Remove gently with moist cotton pads after half an hour. Repeat this for a week
  3. Slice a raw Potato and circle the closed eyes with these halves. Or else grate a raw Potato and place on Muslin cloth and squeeze. Place these on the eyes and relax for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl of chilled water add few drops of Vitamin E oil. Dip cotton pads for 5 minutes in this and place on the eyes while relaxing for 20 minutes every day.

Tip 9: Food for Healthy Eyes.

  2. Carrots, Sprouts, Corn, Raw Nuts, Beans
  3. Greens ( Spinach, Broccoli, Avocado, Olives , Cabbage, Lettuce, Coriander Leaves)

Tip 10: Regular checkups:
When was the last time you had an eye exam? If it was at 3 years of age, chances are you’re due. Eye checkups are as important as physical checkups. Even if you don’t have power, you should still regularly get your eyes checked especially if you are close to 40. Cataract, dry eyes, glaucoma and retinopathy are a few common problems that are noticed among women. The best way is to be aware of the symptoms and consult a doctor in case of any discomfort in the eyes.

Hands care tips

Tip 1: Protect your hands by wearing rubber gloves for your washing chores.
Wear gloves when gardening, clothing or washing dishes. When gardening, gloves protect your hands from the sun and from injuries such as briar scratches and contact dermatitis from handling weeds. It also prevents you from tearing of skin or chipping of nails. These gloves are easily available at a chemist store.

Tip 2: Use hand cream to moisturize your hands at least twice a day.
At least three twice a day, moisturize your hands. Because of all the things your hands get into - especially soap and water - they tend to dry out quickly, particularly in winter. Keep your hands moisturized to avoid wrinkles and calluses.

Tip 3: keep the hands warm and patting it dry after washing.
Always pat your hands dry after they have been wetted with water so as to avoid fungal infections of the nails, especially if you are prone to working in wet areas. One of the best ways to avoid fungal infections is to keep the hands warm and patting it dry after washing. Coldness of hands often affects the body's immune system by leading to illnesses such as influenza and sore throats.

Tip 4: Avoid nail coloring.
Keep your nails strong and healthy looking but avoid coloring them with nail color or restrict the usage of nail colors to once in a fortnight. Avoid using nail colors and nail color removers that contain acetone.

Tip 5: Eat foods high in vitamin B and calcium.
Deficiencies in Vitamin B can cause ridged nail beds. Lack of calcium can result in brittle and dry nails that chip off easily. For this purpose, be sure to eat foods high in these vitamins or take supplements to improve the look of your nails.

Tip 6: Use soap-free shower gels.
For bathing, soap-free shower gels are better in winter. Or, you can use mild glycerin soap. For extreme dryness, it is better to avoid soap. Oil massage and wiping with a moist towel can help to cleanse the skin adequately.

Tip 7: Palm and Finger massage.
Simply rub one palm over the back of the opposite hand in a circular motion. The massage motion increases circulation, which helps warm up your hands. Soothing for arthritis, a finger massage with a little warm coconut oil is very healthful. Gently pull each finger in a "milking" motion and finish by moving each finger joint gently to the side. This relaxes and loosens the joints and gives your hands better flexibility and circulation.
